About
Kunal tells stories for brands the way they deserve to be told — with craft, heart, and a touch of mischief. He has written and directed campaigns for Oppo, Ather, Dabur, Aditya Birla Health Insurance, Yes Bank, ITC, India Gate Basmati, Real and BNatural juices, Nuvoco Cement, Hajmola, and more.
Along the way, he’s directed the likes of S.S. Rajamouli, Sanya Malhotra, Ali Fazal, and Raghu Ram — and somehow managed to keep them all on schedule. His ITC BNatural Paralympics film (Tokyo 2021) put India’s athletes on the global stage, while his Dabbawala ad for ITC won Campaign of the Year at the Kaleido Awards ‘22, along with three Golds and a Bronze.
His Honey Trail films for Dabur Honey (which he also wrote) have picked up Golds and Silvers at AdGully’s Digixx Awards and a Silver at the
DMA Asia Echo Awards, while several of his ads have
featured in Financial Express’ “Work That Speaks.”
Outside commercials, Kunal has worked
as Associate/2nd Unit Director on
long-form projects including
Netflix’s upcoming Gandhari (Devashish Makhija)
and Amazon Prime’s Dancing on the Grave (Patrick Graham).
Whether it’s a 30-second ad, a CSR film, or a gritty docu-series,
Kunal’s work is driven by emotion, sharp visuals
and the thrill of the unexpected.

ABOUT
Kunal tells stories for brands the way they deserve to be told — with craft, heart, and a touch of mischief. Over the years, he has written and directed ad campaigns for some of India’s most loved names, including Oppo, Ather, Dabur Honey, Dabur Red Paste, Aditya Birla Health Insurance, Berger Paints, Yes Bank, ITC, India Gate Basmati Rice, Real Fruit Power, BNatural, Srijan Realty, Nuvoco Cement, Hajmola and Pudin Hara.
Along the way, he’s directed the likes of S.S. Rajamouli, Sanya Malhotra, Ali Fazal, Raghu Ram - and somehow managed to keep them all on schedule. His film for ITC BNatural’s Paralympics campaign (Tokyo 2021) put India’s athletes on the world stage, while his Dabbawala ad for ITC not only won Campaign of the Year at the Kaleido Awards ‘22 but also bagged three Golds and a Bronze.
Kunal’s Honey Trail films for Dabur Honey (which he also wrote) have had a sweet run at award shows, with Golds and Silvers at AdGully’s Digixx Awards and a Silver at the DMA Asia Echo Awards. Several of his films have also found their way into Financial Express’ “Work That Speaks”, a monthly pick of India’s most clutter-breaking ads.
Outside the world of 30-seconders and 3-minuters, Kunal has also worn the Associate Director and 2nd unit director’s hat on long-form stories — including Netflix’s upcoming Gandhari (directed by Devashish Makhija) and Amazon Prime’s Dancing on the Grave (directed by Patrick Graham).
What ties it all together? Whether it’s a celebrity-driven commercial, a CSR story, or a gritty docu-series, Kunal’s films lean on human emotion, visual sharpness, and the thrill of finding the unexpected.
